Taking a back seat from the distinct nu-Soul movement of the noughties, that he helped push, the producer is back with a slightly different angle. Curating and forming the side project The Slakadeliqs (Slakah’s alter ego).
He says the free album “is the result of four years writing, experimenting and exploring different groups of musical influences than most would expect.”
Incorporating 60′s Beatles claps and melodic guitar riffs, a doo wop rhythm and featuring artists such as Sandie Black it’s a real mixed bag, but definitely one full of good vibrations a la Raphaal Saadiq circa 2011.
