A Shakkapella of Beyonce’s End Of Time by Shakka and House of Alt
I have been a fan of this guys music ever since I stumbled on his mix tape “Foolishness Vol.1” and after last years release of his free download mix tape “The Shakka Crown Affair”, “God Put A Smile Upon Your Face” is now the most played track my iTunes. I’m a massive Coldplay fan, but sometimes forget that it is a cover, Shakka definitely made that one his own.
In this Shakkapella, which again isn’t your regular cover Shakka uses his own voice as an instrument to create the beat as well as sing the song. His ability to switch his vocal stylings with such ease is something which not only demonstrates the strength of his talents, but also keeps for an interested ear. Combine this with the personality in which he wraps it all up in and you have a winning mix.
This guy has can only be described as a “Real Home Grown Talent”. It is so inspiring to see the abundance of talent there is on the UK Music scene and I have a feeling that there is still alot more to come from this guy.
